Oukitel Original One Review

The Oukitel Original One is a great phone for those of us who would prefer a budget smartphone, with all the basic necessities and are not looking for anything over-complicated.

The phones features are:
CPU - Quadcore
GPU - Cores: 2
RAM - 512 MB
Storage: 4G
Memory Card Slot: Yes
Battery - 1600 mAh
Camera - 5mp front
Sim - Micro-sim

The phone is quite astehteically pleasing, coming with all sorts of different back-covers. The covers are also quite durable, being a type of hard plastic. If you are a person who drops their phone constantly, this phone would be suitable for you as the cover is incredibly strong.

Don't be put off by the small RAM - the RAM is good for using all applications except if you are a person who likes to download and watch movies on your phone. The phone does not crash when using applications so it's absolutely fine for using all the applications you want.

Like most (if not all) Oukitel phones, this phone also comes with a screen protector built in so you don't have to waste the extra money, and time, with purchasing a screen saver.

The battery life on this phone is quite good and lasts for about 2 days without using the phone constantly. Compared to the K6000, the phone does not obviously last as long as the K6000 but for a £40 phone, this phone cannot be compared to other higher-spec Oukitel phones.

The language settings on this phone are very good, providing you with any language possible, including Traditional Chinese. Therefore, this phone would be perfect for any person because it is easily customisable in their preferred language.

Who Would I Recommend it to?
I would say that this phone would be suitable as a starter-phone if you would like to buy a smart-phone but you are unsure about purchasing a more expensive and complicated smartphone. This phone would also work well with the eldery and children. If you are a person who would like to have a quirky, small phone with all the basics then purchasing the Oukitel Original One is definitely a good choice to make.

Blog Review: Oukitel K6000

The Oukitel K6000 is definitely one of the best budget smart phones out there at a price of only £109.99!
Here is the breakdown of features:

Memory: RAM:2G, ROM:16G, Max Storage Expansion:32G, SIM Card:2 micro sim or 1 micro sim+1 T-flash

The memory on this phone is superb with a dual sim or one sim and microSD card slot. The card slot is the same as a lot of 2015 android phones, requiring a little key to access it but this comes with the phone when you receive it, in the warranty booklet.
A 2G ram means that the phone is extremely fast at playing games and using applications. So far, the phone has never broken down on me even after excessive use which is very impressive, even after having a lot of apps open.

Screen: Main Display:5.5in Screen Resolution:720*1280 HD Screen Type:OGS Support Multi-point Touch

The screen is very good, playing youtube videos in high quality. There is a screen protector already fitted (you just have to peel off the other screen sticker) which saves you the trouble of having to purchase your own screen saver and fiddling around with having a nice-looking screensaver without any dirt.

Camera
13MP rear; 5MP Front

The dual camera definitely rivals the cameras featuring on the Apple Iphone 6. A 13MP rear means that your photos will definitely be clear and beautiful. The 5MP camera is acceptable for taking pictures with but the primary focus is on the rear camera and being 13MP, it certainly makes this phone a good deal.

Battery
6000 mAh

The battery is by far the best feature of this phone. I use my phone regularly (almost 10 minutes every hour when I'm awake) and so far, I charge the phone once every 4 hours. I would recommend using the battery charger supplied because after using a samsung charger, I have noticed that the charging time can be longer than using the OUKITEL charger. The charger is a two-pin charger rather than a 3 pin charger so you will need to have a UK adaptor.

Summary
All in all, this phone is probably my favourite phone to this date and I am now currently using it as my main phone. I would say that this phone is at a superb price of only £100 (a fraction of many mainstream brands) and rivals many expensive phones (yes! I'm saying it is probably better than the iphone 6!). You will definitely not be disappointed with receiving this phone.

VERDICT: 5/5

OUKITEL - U7 Pro Review

Specifications
Display: 5.5 inch 1280 x 720 HD IPS Screen
For a phone this cheap, you would think that the quality of the screen is debatable but in comparison to the iphone, the OUKITEL U7 pro is just as good (if not better) in terms of watching videos. Playing games, such as candy crush etc, is not a problem for the screen. A 5.5 inch screen is not uncommon, especially in 2015, but it is bigger than most screens making text easy to read.

CPU: MTK6580 Quad Core 1.3GHz
GPU: Mali-400MP
System: Android 5.1
RAM + ROM: 1GB RAM + 8GB ROM, TF card up to 32GB

In reality, you get only get about 5 GB of storage due to the system memory taking up 3GB of ROM. 1GB RAM means that the phone would be slower if a lot of apps were open but this can be easily fixed. When using the phone I came across a few minor glitches especially when opening and closing apps quickly but these were only experienced once.
Camera: Back camera 8.0MP (SW 13.0MP) with flashlight and auto focus front camera 1.3MP (SW 2.0MP)
This phone features a very impressive main camera, with flash, that would put a lot of other more expensive phones to shame. Having an 8MP (interpolated to 13MP) camera means capturing high quality images at the expensive of pictures taking up a lot of storage space,
Bluetooth: 2.0
Battery: 2500 mAh
The battery needs to be charged every day if you are a frequent user like me! Average battery-span for this phone is 10 hours.
GPS: Yes
SIM Card: Dual SIM dual standby, Dual Micro SIM
Network:
2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
3G: WCDMA 900/1900/2100MHz

Unfortunately this phone does not come with 4G but internet connection is pretty fast, although wifi can lag slightly compared to other mobile devices.

TLDR on the Product

I think this phone is definitely a very good deal. There is a lot of stigma about China phones but people forget that even the more well-known brands source a lot of their production from China. For only £56.99 it's a complete bargain for those who wish to have a powerful phone but a small price tag so I would definitely recommend the product if you like a good product. Of course, the 1GB RAM and Quad-core processor means that the phone may be quite slow when using apps quite frequently but it is hardly noticeable. The battery is acceptable, giving you ten hours of usage.

Tips For Using This Phone

  • Try the different features when unlocking your phone!
  • To open your task manager, hold down the middle button (home screen arrow) and a screen will pop up showing your running apps. Close them to save battery life!
  • Swipe the top part of your screen to get your quick settings! You can also check how much data you're using there!
